Danhostel Brande

Very relaxed atmosphere, possibilities for restaurant food and breakfast at the hostel AND/or using kitchen on your own and borrowing oven and fridge. Nice!! Nice prices, very neat and clean, everything is new and shiny. Like an european "super-hostel", no dormitory, but private rooms (which is nice travelling with kids), free internet ( wich really makes holiday in the area lot easier) Even though typically "hostel-non- availabillity" at the hostell-office, you get through on the phone at any time (even in the middle of the night) and staff is visible (and accomodating) around the area alot. Since the town is in the middle of farmland, it would be nice if the staff knew more about buses and trains and they should have made an information pamflette instead of the glosssy non-informational brochure. But free internet helps alot. A very quiet and enjoyable smalltown eksperience. Would love to go there again, without children and Legoland excursions..travelling to Legoland by bus and train was bad. Bring or rent a car!

It was easy to find. After a 60 mile cycle ride we did not want to be searching for a hostel for ages. The rooms were clean and comfortable and our had en suite.

Registration staff dont work Saturday nights, I think this is usual for all/ most Danhostels, although our swipe card and site information was left on the window of the registration office.

Nice Sourrindings, caring personel, shared kitchen to use, free wifi via "the Cloud"

Quite expensive, very easy furnished room
